Environmental Standards
- MetroKin SA implements comprehensive environmental and social standards aligned with international best practices. The project adheres to IFC Performance Standards focusing on Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks (PS1), Labor and Working Conditions (PS2), Resource Efficiency and Pollution Prevention (PS3), Community Health, Safety and Security (PS4), Land Acquisition and Resettlement (PS5) and Cultural Heritage (PS8).
- The development framework incorporates World Bank Group Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines, specifically implementing both General Guidelines and Railway-specific protocols. This ensures systematic management of environmental impacts, occupational health and safety, community protection and sustainable resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
